Terms and Conditions

DTDCShipAssure™ programme is subject to the following conditions:

  1. Consignments should have been booked using MyDTDC application or MyDTDC web platform
  2. Only Domestic consignments are eligible for DTDCShipAssure™
  3. Only Shipments booked under PREMIUM service for specific origin and destination pincodes will be considered for coverage under DTDCShipAssure™ programme
  4. Only the Consignments which have not been delivered successfully to the destination within EDD due to reasons attributable to the Company will be considered for DTDCShipAssure™ refund.
  5. Customers will be notified proactively if the shipment qualifies for a refund. Should they not receive such a notification within 3 working days of EDD, customers can notify DTDC of a claim under DTDCShipAssureTM, by reaching out to us at +91-8929869688 OR writing to us at customersupport@dtdc.com OR Raise a Service Query, within 7 working days of the shipment delivery date and share the consignment number (AWB).
  6. DTDC reserves the right to withdraw, amend and/or modify the offer at any time. DTDC also reserves the right to outline reasons for non applicability of the said moneyback guarantee. The decision of the company with regards to the moneyback will be final and binding .
  7. Customers can not authorise any other party other than themselves to notify claims on their behalf nor assign claims to any other party.
  8. Conditions under which DTDCShipAssure™ will not apply:
    1. Where late delivery or failure to deliver is due to circumstances beyond DTDC’s control, as set out in the DTDC Terms and Conditions of Carriage and including but not limited to inaccurate or incomplete shipment information, delivery instructions or information, or receiver’s request for delay, shipment diversion or unavailability or refusal of the receiver to accept delivery or to pay duties and taxes against delivery if requested.
    2. If customers are shipping commercial shipments which require paperwork such as eway bill etc. incase of any delay due to non–provision of such documents will result in non applicability of the moneyback guarantee.
    3. All claims will be null & void if the shipment is found to carry contraband material or other illegal/ unauthorised material or due to misdeclaration or omission of information on any party’s behalf
    4. If there is mismatch between content declared during booking and content actually shipped
    5. Shipments with overweight pieces (more than 100 kgs)
  9. All other provisions of the DTDC Terms and Conditions of Carriage apply.
  10. The Guarantee is subject to modification or cancellation by DTDC at any time.

DTDCShipAssure™ is a promise where we assure you of timely delivery of your shipment and in the odd case that we miss the mark, you will receive a complete refund of the service charges you paid while booking your shipment.

DTDCShipAssure™ is applicable only on selected Origin and Destination pincodes under the Express Premium services.

DTDCShipAssure™ will only be applicable on bookings done under Domestic PREMIUM service.

DTDCShipAssure™ is not applicable on International Bookings. It will only be applicable on Domestic Premium bookings in MyDTDC.

The conditions to be met for the booking to be approved for MoneyBack under DTDCShipAssure™ are:

  1. Specific Origin & Destination pin codes visible while booking
  2. Booking should be done under PREMIUM service
  3. Date of Delivery should exceed the Expected Date of Delivery for reasons other than Customer requested reasons.

You can request for MoneyBack via the Contact Us section of MyDTDC. Please choose to Raise a Service Query & then select the option “Claim refund on DTDCShipAssure”.

In case your consignment is eligible for DTDCShipAssure™, you will get to know it in the service selection page of the app during booking.

You will receive an e-mail on your registered Email ID that MoneyBack has been approved for your consignment

The entire booking amount will be refunded to you.

You will receive the refund amount back in the original payment mode used during booking the shipment.
